Hi! I’m Ali, your local Labor Member for Kalgoorlie.
I’ve lived in the Goldfields for over 20 years. I’m a proud Mum and Nanna and my family has been active in this community for decades.
I love my dogs and Fremantle Dockers (in that order)!!
For most of my life, I have worked in education and know how important quality education is for our kids. I’ve long been an advocate for our region through my work as President of the Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre, the Goldfields Development Commission, and more recently as a small business owner.
In 2025, I was honored and privileged to have been re-elected as the Member for Kalgoorlie and I was very proud to be sworn into the 42nd Parliament of Western Australia as a part of the Cook Labor Government. I am thrilled to continue on with the work I’ve be doing to make the Goldfields Region, one of the best in WA!
The Kalgoorlie Electorate has now grown! Now as well as the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder, the Shires of Laverton, Leonora, Menzies, Coolgardie and Dundas, the Electorate now includes the Shires of Wiluna and Ngaanyatjarraku. Kalgoorlie is the state’s second largest electorate covering 754,990 square kilometers and 29.9% of the state, and an area almost as large as New South Wales.
I’m passionate about doing as much as I can for the whole community and am honoured to be part of the Roger Cook Team, advocating continuously for us through Parliament.
My door is always open, so please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.
