Over the past year, I've been speaking with the local community about how we improve our park facilities in Kalgoorlie. I heard that what Kalgoorlie needed was fun, safe spaces for our kids to play in. 

I've listened, and I'm delighted to announce that a re-elected Cook Labor Government will invest $40,000 towards a new scooter park at Sewell Drive. 

There isn't anything like this currently in Kalgoorlie, and I'm sure it will be very popular with local families.
