Community groups, not-for-profit organisations, individuals, and sporting clubs are invited to apply for sponsorship funding — with up to $250 available for individuals and up to $1,000 available for large community events.
To be considered, please ensure all sections of the application form are completed in full, including key event details such as the date, time, and location.
(Unfortunately, incomplete applications can’t be assessed.)
Sponsorship is available to groups and individuals who reside within the Kalgoorlie Electorate.
If your child has been selected for a sporting club or event, our preference is to support the entire team rather than individual players where possible. Please include event dates and a copy of any correspondence from the club or school confirming selection for participation.
If you’re seeking funding above the standard amounts or for a larger project, please feel free to request a meeting to discuss your proposal further — we’re always happy to explore how we can best support our community.
We kindly ask all successful applicants to:

Acknowledge Ali Kent MLA’s support in event materials or public communications,

Visit the office for a quick photo to be used for promotional purposes (or alternatively, email us a photo taken at your event), and

Tag Ali Kent MLA in any relevant social media posts and, where possible, help spread the word through other channels such as community newsletters, websites, or local media.
While social media is a great way to share your event, we encourage applicants to find additional ways to acknowledge sponsorship — this helps us showcase community partnerships and allows more people to see the great work being done locally.
I receive hundreds of sponsorship requests each year, and I truly do my best to support as many local groups, individuals, and events as possible. Your efforts to provide clear information and community recognition help us continue supporting a wide range of initiatives right across the electorate.
